You can also get probiotics from kefir, but I'd never recommend dairy products when you have a sinus infection.

If the goldenseal works, I suspect you will feel much better within a couple of days, and you might experience relief within an hour or two of the first dose. Your body will let you know when you need to take more. Take the goldenseal alone the first day. On the second day, if the Goldenseal is helping, start taking 4-5 acidopholus capsules every time you take more Goldenseal. It is very important to take the acidopholus, or the goldenseal will mess up your digestion, and you won't be able to continue taking it. Then the parasites will come back and you will have two problems: head infection and messed up digestion. I buy the 50 million count probiotics when I am using Goldenseal. I've never heard of anyone overdosing on probiotics, and I've taken them by the handfulls. Use them liberally.
