Hey Daisy,
You are not alone. I am 50 years old and it has been years since I had a friend I could relate to. I just don't get the soccer mom mentality. Going to lunch with the girls at work is beyond boring. Let me guess. You are creative and a free thinker. You don't get why people can't see through the BS. WHY DONT THEY GET IT?

You guys call yourselves "Indigos" we were "hippies"! LOL! Many of the old "hippies" became "Yuppies". We wonder "what is our purpose?" We need a purpose! It IS very frustrating. You are seeking and that is good. Keep it up and eventually you will find what you are looking for. Well that's what I've been told anyway. I'm still looking. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I had to take a break for 28 years and work my ass off. I had a kid to raise so I had to conform in that respect at least.

I say go to school and use your education so you can take on a position to educate others. Reform education in this country. Make that your purpose, if you feel strongly about it. Start an alternative education that focuses on what we really need to learn while teaching the basics. Teach about what we can learn from history instead of the statistics and dates of what and when it happened. Force the kids to think and use their own minds and come to their own conclusions.

It is up YOU Young people to change this world. We tried in the 60's and 70's but well.......... you can see what happened. The world needs to change on a basic level for sure, but you can only do what you can do. Just concentrate on what you CAN do. Even if it's sending out positive energy. What you send out you will recieve. That is for sure.

Don't get hung up on labels and don't retreat from the world because you and your children are going to have to live in it. We screwed it up yes, or should I say the ones in power have really gone off the deep end. I thought in the 21st century we would be much more advanced spiritually. I can't believe the crap that's going on all over the world. What is up with that? The violence and intolerance? I dont' understand. I really don't get the greed thing or the envy thing.

Teach your children to love and not get hung up on material things. Do what you can and follow your heart.
