Kalliopi,
I read, with great interest, your posts on the use of pendulums. I believe strongly in the value of muscle testing, however I have tried self-muscle testing and I do not think I can be objective. Since I live alone, it is difficult to test all the things I would like when someone is here...and they generally think I am crazy anyway and just humor me.
So with enthusiasm, I took a chain (necklace) and looped a ring though it, so that it is simply a single chain with the ring at the bottom. I followed your instructions, teaching the pendulum "y es" and "no". It only took a few tries.
What amazes me is how fast and definite, even wild, the pendulum will swing at times. When this happens, I have even learned, in just a couple of days, that I can ask another question and if that question is "no", the pendulum will calm down to a dead stop, even vibrating as it starts to reverse direction. It seems truly alive! Other times, the swing is more gentle. I am guessing the difference is the degrees of "yes" and "no",
I can SEE that I am not moving the hand that holds the pendulum. Ands whatever extremely subtle movements I might make can not account for the pendulum's sometimes wild swings or reversal of direction. I have tried controlling the swings with my hand and it is MUCH different than what I see when I am holding my hand steady and concentrating. In fact, I am not even able to bring the pendulum to a COMPLETE STOP when I try to control it. But when I use it "properly", without physical control, it will come to a dead stop, then vibrate, then reverse. It is a sight to see!
My naturopath has muscle tested me for some foods and my results with the pendulum echo her findings. I have taken to an extreme craving for orang juice since the first of hte year. I cannot believe the orange juice is really good for me with adrenal problems (Cushings). Orange juice does not test well with the pendulum, but the Thai Go Juice (mangosteen fruit) that she suggested instead, tests very well.
So I am looking forward to the next few weeks of testing and assessing the success based on my body's reaction to eating accordingly to the pendulum.
You are an angel to have shared your pendulum experiences with us. I, for one, believe you may have changed my life with your discovery. I am incredibly grateful.
Dianna
