Hey, my husband that abused me was terribly abused as a child. He also watched his father abuse his mother and sister for years.

Do I feel sorry and have compassion for him? Sure I do. And if I came across hard on you then you have to understand that survivors are all about not hurting anyone, either physically nor emotionally. And there are no excuses regarding that subject.

I trust you have moved on? If this was an isolated incident, and you have risen above, then more power to you. If you are still seeking partners that put you in that kind of turmoil, then you are in need of assistance.

I still suffer the scars of my ordeal, and that was over 25 years ago. Imagine that.

You got me in a moment of angst tonight.
