First of all, you have to face facts. No matter what YOUR FEELINGS are about "friends", any person who will repeatedly be violent against another person is WRONG.
Any guy who will be violent against a WOMEN is a coward.
Any guy who will REPEATEDLY be violent against a women is a "psycho coward".
Anyone who thinks that love and violence go together has a "screw loose".
If he didn't realize that you could be a physical threat to him, he would have been abusing you too (starting to have less pity for him?).
Be glad he wasn't dating your sister.
He's not going to ever change unless he gets into some kind of extreme miracle therapy (this MIGHT change him, I doubt it) or if he falls in love with a 300 pound woman who will be able to beat him senseless and be a threat to him. Other than this, he will NEVER change. I know you have love and loyalty to your "friends", but be careful where you put your heart. I have absolutely no respect for your friend. He is just one of the casualties of life (his parents fault) and should not be walking free on the street.
So, he beat the crap out of this person, and your opinion is that it "completely not okay"?...you mean your opinion is that beating her was "unkind"? (such compassion for the women!!). How about all the people in the world that are innocent victims of war?...do they also suffer "unkindness"?
Where's YOUR humanity?
Get your head straightened out and realize this.
