Check out the BAD BUG BOOK. No this is serious, its not a joke.
You can peruse this site. Exstensive research and calculations are being done, but not widely talked about. For example, researchers test sewage in cities for parasitic eggs, therefor they are able to estimate what type of parasite the people are passing and how many are affected!
