First of all, is it hard? I have one in the root area that I am sure is a bone spur...something to do with a calcium, or similar, spot. I've been pushing on it with my tongue for some fifty years...and it seems a bit smaller, quite small. It never bothers me.
If it should be sort of 'tough' or 'spongy' it could be... Drat! I hate to say this, in case you have a sensitive stomach. Ready? It could be a parasite...but I'd think a parasite would give you some sign...like moving...or bites.
Then again, years ago I ate a mango, scraping the extra flesh from the large flat pit, with my teeth.
That turned out to be a mistake, because about a week later I got the worst toothache you can imagine. Not having a dentist of my own, we drove all over town, begging for a shot that would freeze the silly thing. This was long before the 'drug' culture, but dentists would give me no more than a couple of 222's. I must have looked disreputable or something.
Anyway, I went to my mother-in-law's and downed two or three fingers of rye whiskey...and the pain went away, almost instantly. So did my good sense and I was seen doing pirouettes across the living room.
A few weeks after that, a small rough pad of mango fibers rose out from under my gum.
Another wierd thing that can happen is that something can get into ones skin by accident. Let's say a piece of glass, or metal...and, over time, it moves. I think the body may coat it with some kind of film. It can travel for great distances, over years. It could for example, go in at the knee and come out at the hand, or anywhere else. Very curious.
Probably, if it doesn't hurt, don't worry about it. Keeping your tongue off of it, of course. You may have to practice stilling your tongue, but you'll soon get the hang of that.
I wouldn't put too much stock in the dowser's pronouncement. Everything is all energy. And 'inability to make decisions' is a learning thing. We all get better at it as the years go by. One of the hardest types of decisions to make is anything concerning a child in our care. Once in a while we get it right, and we are so proud we are busting our buttons...chests thrown out.
If we have an energy constriction, it is simply an interuption in the flow, too much energy or too little...and usually can be tracked back to some kind of mistaken idea we got about ourselves and our world, during childhood. An energy constriction is more easily 'fixed' than we think. We don't have to 're-live' the experience, simply acknowlege it, and let it melt away in the reality of who we are today.
The only hook in that, as far as I can see, is to let go of related feelings...incidents, embarrassments, and individuals we connect to the concept. Memories and impressions from long ago serve no purpose today, unless they are happy and harmonious. Usually the unhappy ones were not quite true, in any case. No one, including ourselves, is all 'bad', just somewhat mistaken...then.
Any number of changes may have taken place since. Try calling up someone you once suspected didn't like you. You will have a nice surprise.
Perhaps, the next time you are at your dentist's for a cleaning, ask for an explanation of what the bump 'could' be. See if that sounds logical.
One really good aid for a toothache is the arms or hands of a loving person around our heads. It works every time, in our household, to lessen or even release pain.
My best, Muttgirl.
