It sounds like it's probably a die off type of reaction. Or more of riling up the parasites that are alive. They don't like to die and if you're trying to kill them, it obviously isn't a pleasant time. When I'm detoxing, I have a very difficult time sleeping as well. I think that's one of the reasons that it's important to take breaks from time to time while detoxing.
