EXACTLY! When I read that in the Bible it got me too. If God is love and love doesn't keep records of wrongs, then with God, wrongs don't even exist. I had to decide which God I was going to believe in and love. The jealous, angry, vengeful God in the Old Testament, or the God Jesus spoke of that did none of those things. I chose the later, and always will. I live as though it’s true, and see God in my life. That is all the proof I need.

Has anyone in here ever had a child that did something wrong without knowing it was wrong? Did you punish that child even though the child didn't mean to do something wrong, or did you lovingly run to the child before even reacting like something was wrong? I have done that and I believe just about everyone has done it too. The love I had for that child FAR out weighed what happened. My heart broke in a feeling sorry kind of way and I ran to the child with open arms. If we can do that, God can do it better in my book. Even those who knowingly do wrong things don't realize how wrong it is, and can be loved the same way.

"Love never fails" = Love prevails over anything. "Keeps no records of wrongs" = they were never viewed as wrong in the first place.

I don't think some people understand how when you're so focused on something like love, you don't see any evil. It has NO influence over you like it never existed. You see what you're focused on, and that's all. It's just like that video I posted in here where you're supposed to count the number of passes by the white team. You're so focused on doing that, you don't even notice the gorilla walking through the scene thumping his chest.

It's the same with love. You won't see the evil people do if you're truly loving. Like the Bible says you won't look to the left or right, or your left hand won't know what the right is doing. If you’re focused on God, you will only see Gods eyes. There will be no bad in the world. If you're happier when a good person says something good to you than when a bad person says something bad to you, know you're bad. See what I'm saying? If you're completely consumed by love, there is no evil. Now think about this. God is greater than that. Evil is gone before it has a chance to exist with God.

I believe what people see as dark people or people in hell with their NDE's is only the choices those people have made up till then, or people that have chosen to be apart from God for a little while and it seems so permanent, bleak, or desolate to those who see it; but it's a choice they made and it is in no way permanent. There are things that can be learned by the absence of God. Just like The Prodigal Son parable in the Bible. God is always there waiting for their return and ready to run to them with open arms even more than you were with your child.
