George W. Bush and his corporate supporters are pushing a Bill through Congress. Called the "Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act" , also known as the "Cheeseburger Bill " .
- this sweeping law bans anyone from suing food manufacturers, sellers and distributors.
Also, the FDA has set no limits on how much of it can be added to food. They claim it's safe to eat in any amount. Thats been their stance on Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) for many years, about 50 years or so, since Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) had started to be added to our foods.
The amount of Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) added to our foods has BEEN STEADILY INCREASING FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS.
MSG is fattening, and addictive, and it causes people to eat more [A study of elderly people showed that people eat more of the foods that it is added to. The Glutamate Association lobby group says "eating more benefits the elderly"]
It looks a lot like a b-grade movie plot where they are fattening up the population and then they will make fuel out of us - "300 pounders or 400 pounders are better than 200 pounders"!!

PS - I ate at - get this - at a DENNY's today!!! LOL, silly me, but it was 5 a.m. and nothing else was open. The distinct taste is surely MSG... I think it was even on the french toast!! But certainly MSG was added to the bacon and sausage, as it was very very salty tasting compared to the bacon I cook at home.
Better to just go hungry, rather than eating out. Buy the food. Cook at home. Time tested way to avoid sh*t. It is also possible to take food with you when you have to eat outside the home.... MSG will surely be in every restaurant, not just DENNY's...
