Re: mellow out-hiding may be a good thing

Wombat, I have a thought. The off topic posts are often a lot of fun while they are going on, but they do tend to take up a lot of space and make searching for older posts more difficult. Some OT posts are very educational and deserve to either be save or else moved to a more appropriate forum; but many serve little purpose outside of their entertainment value for the moment. It might improve the flow and ease of searching this popular forum if a lot of the OT and video post would disappear after a couple of days. Maybe y'all could poll the regulars here and see how they feel. I certainly do not want top see anyone hurt or offended, but a forum this popular may need to be streamlined occasionally to keep it user friendly, especially for new people and old people (like me) with poor memories :)
