Alwright Charlie I'll first give you props for your "plain" Charlie sig. Now the part that you are ignoring and taking out of this equation is >>YOU<<. The simple ultimate truth is that you can't change how people react. You can only change >you< and put things in a digestable format where it will reach the largest number of people and do the most good. Isn't that the ultimate thing any "Doctor/teacher" should aim for? Well let me clarify and say that that would be the mechanics in a "public" forum. In a "private" one on one things would be different and it could also hold true in a medium where folks can not give instant feedback. Like for example a book. In a private consultation and even in a book the mechanics are that some one would have paid you and in those dynamics being the dominant all knowing person is acceptable and actually expected but that don't fly in an "informal" public forum.
Perhaps this is your shortcoming in your delivery that you have yet not made the adjustment in the transition and understand that you are putting something out there that will be read by hundreds of people and this is not a place where someone has actually paid you to get your advice to be dominated.

Yes absolutely but the above is just a cliche and it has fallen in the realm of the intellect and not in the field of useful knowledge that we can actually use to deliver a relevant message that will reach the greater number of people and do the most good.
Charlie you can not change the mechanics of that cliche. It is what it is. If you truly understood it's function you then you would also would understand is that in a public forum you can not force feed information not matter how factual it may be. You hafta work within the parameters of how things actually work and not how >you< think they should be.
