Actually, according to the evenbetternow.com website, they use a pharmaceutical grade clay and is in fact "refined" as the poster says, but that is certainly not a good thing. A true pharmaceutical grade clay has been irradiated and processed. Pharmaceutical grade clay is ok for internal use, but is essentially "dead" and is not effective for bathing. I would stick with a non-pharmaceutical grade clay, but whether or not it is from LL's Magnetic Clay is up to you...
