I presently reside in Shalimar,Fl. and I don't recall seeing those things of which you speak except at long range. I came from a poor family of which I am not ashamed to admit. Because the lack of material things in our lives were more tham amply made up for in careing,compassion,and real true love for one another. Now to some this may sound corny,but it is a big part of my life and who I am.
I have been in many foreign countries, seen real abject poverty,but nothing like we are seeing here in the richest,most educated nation in the history of the world. Now I do have a better understanding of the meaning of HUMAN NATURE. It seems so selfish not to care about others or have compassion for others, as well as your very own.
