Madame,(I assume you are a lady,if not,my appologies)I am in complete agreement with you assement of the curren situation concerning,children having babies that are not wanted,both in and out of wedlock.
I believe you will agree that this problem has reached epidemic proportions and must be stopped or at least brought down to where it can be managed.
I would like to address this issue from a biblical perspective. When I do this I fully understand that I will be considered worse than the perverbable skunk at the family picnic. So be it.
GOD says that the poor will be with you always,and I think you know that is obvious just by your last post. So we are left with a conundrum. What must we do as parents,teachers,ministers,and concerned,tax paying citizens? As I have stated before, I believe the responsibility begins with the parents. However as many of you posted some parents have not,will not do this even though it is the duty of every parent. In such cases the above mentioned people will have to step forward to take the place of the derelict parents. This is known as LOVE for thy fellow man.
As you sataed in your post,this may be the first time any of these people have ever been shown any real LOVE AND COMPASSION. Also as you stated we do not live in a perfect world. This is going to require adjustments on behalf of us all. My on personal belief is the changes MUST begin with the TEACHING OF ABSTINENCE. The boys need to be taught to keep thier pekies in thier pants and the girls need to be taught to keep thier panties on and thier legs crossed. This is just for starters. Little children are taught that no one is to touch thier privet parts,right? Why doesen't that continue until marriage?
Before everyone rises up to lench me,let me say that I know this will not solve the majority of the problems,but at least it is a place to begin. Also please! don't post that boys will be boys and girls will be girls and teens will be teens and you can't stop them from having sex? Check out the ads on smoking and drug use,according to them communicating (TALKING TO AND WITH YOUR CHILDREN IS VERY AFFECTIVE),and it works. Communication is the major key in EVERY ones life. Even babies communicate with the mothers,husbands and wives MUST talk to one another,boys and girls friends and friends,nation to nation. Look around you,NOTHING happens without some form of communication.It is obvious, at least to me that we need to have more talking between husbands and wifes and especially between parents and thier beautiful children.
