Good morning Tumeric,
One question,and please! don't take offence. Why would you or any parent want the school to teach your child about birth control or the reasons for girls getting pregnant? From my point of view and what I was taught by my parents,no less. They knew that that was thier job not the schools. They understood they were responsible for teaching me about life,and let the school teach me about education and how to succeed in the world.
I believe that is one reason why this nation is in such a mess. Parents, relinquish thier parenting responsibilites to others. They expect schools the educate the children,churches the teach them what is right from wrong,and the local police to teach them how to obey the law, and the military to teach them how to protect themselves. From sports,tv and hollywood you get NOTHING.
Not meaning you,but most young people today think that raising a child requires ONLY,feeding clothing,and a place to sleep and you have fulfilled your responsibility as a parent.
No offence to anyone,this is just my take on the situation.
