Which is better?
Limu moui, fucoidan, or A*******e? Limu Moui is a brown seaweed. Fucoidan is a sulfated fucan or natural fucose compound found in Limu moui and lots of other plants. Both original and advanced A*******es have fucoidan in their formulations; 5% in the original, 20% in the advanced.
I take it that you are using Fucoidan as a product brand name, even as "Limu." You saw Duane's research about the tests done, which did not test the A*******es. There were no studies to compare efficacy, just amounts.
Which is the best? In reference to what condition?...
Choosing fucoidan against A*******e is similar to; Would you like apples or a fruit basket which includes apples with a dozen types of other fruits?... All of which have their distinctive benefits (and with a different mixture and proportions between original and advanced.)
Based on patients' feedback, I recommend original or "classic A*******e" for auto immune diseases. It is still a wonderful product and most of the recorded research and good results have been accomplished with it. It tastes better and is better accepted by most patients. It also has arabinogalactan, which the advanced does not, although the rumor mill has it that an improved, advanced A*******e will include it. I recommend "advanced A*******e" everytime for viral diseases and cancers, because of the 4X increase in fucoidan. If you have both problems which I have seen several times now, you should take both. That is the quick response.
More thoughtful and drawn out (and complicated) is that there are auto immune patients who claim that they are reaching new plateaus in wellness on the "advanced A*******e." I believe them. That opens up so many questions and explanations, that I don't have time for them.
Play it safe, if you want, and go with the original or classic A*******e, then try the advanced, or a combination later. When a couple of thousand dollars are not an issue, compared to the disease damage and expenses with conventional medicine, I would start off with both. Taking a large amount from the start, the great majority of people will see and feel signs of improvement within a month. To me, that is a better effort than dragging it out for months taking smallish amounts, trying to make that expensive stuff last and hoping that a tiny increment more will do the trick.
But, You are the captain of your ship. You gather the best information available from the opinions of others, and then you must make your decision. I say "opinions" because glyconutrition and its support against disease are a new field which is still in the early stages being worked out. Until comparative studies are done, hard evidence is lacking.
