Great idea. I found this website that details salt therapy for our lungs:

Simply put salt water into an ultrasonic air humidifier, and breath deeply.

Amazon.Com sells inexpensive deep Sea Salt water, I don't recall the brand name, but had something to do with Hawaii.

I think I may even try this out myself the next time my lungs get into trouble.
