Re: Sudden Chronic Shortness of Breath in Young Heatlthy Active Male - Detailed History (8 months and no diagnosis)
Great idea. I found this website that details salt therapy for our lungs:
"These microscopic salt crystals enter deep into the lungs where they absorb and neutralize harmful bacteria and allergens, reducing swelling in the lung tissue.
As a result, breathing becomes much easier for anyone suffering from respiratory problems such as asthma, shortness of breath, cystic fibrosis, hay fever, allergies, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, COPD and other ailments of the lungs."
Simply put salt water into an ultrasonic air humidifier, and breath deeply.

Amazon.Com sells inexpensive deep
Sea Salt water, I don't recall the brand name, but had something to do with Hawaii.
I think I may even try this out myself the next time my lungs get into trouble.
