Just something to consider for the ammonia, sulphur, oniony armpit smell - it could be testosterone...you *might* have really high T hormone levels.
You said it started at age 18...hormones are really thriving at that point in a persons life.
It is worth getting that checked out with a hormone panel...from your doctor or a saliva 'internet ordered' hormone panel - Canaryclub.org do the cheapest i could find.

It's just another angle to consider.

I know this smell as i too have suffered with it and at certain points of the month (im female) it's stronger than others. It's been bugging me why. I just got a hormone panel results showing very high testosterone levels, very low estrogen and progesterone.
It's a smell that i have smelt from men mostly. My partner has high T and he has this smell at times too when T is 'raging'.
