I can't agree with you more when it comes to maintaining a healthy back with Yoga routines. Yoga has tremendously helped me to strengthen my back muscles. Another thing that really helped me was the use of a back brace for extra support. My doctor had recommended me I get one and I bought them online. See: www.BraceAbility.com
