from what i am getting out of the whole thing, D3 supplementation is a two-edged sword.
i live in the sun belt. i find that Iodine and sunshine is all i need. but having lived for 26 years in the interior of alaska, i know for a fact i could have used more D.
as for an Iodine connection, take your iodine. it is necessary for all hormone receptors. once i had been supplementing for about a year and was taking large daily doses, i decided to take an A&D supplement. to my chagrin i began having some troubling symptoms. i looked them and and behold - vitamin A and D toxicity. this was in missouri in the winter which is why i tried it. apparently i was getting enough already. i ate a lot of wild salmon at the time.
