Re: Once again correcting a distorted view of reality (edit)
It's great that people have friends on Curezone. The problems happen when teams of "friends" form gangs and attack each other.
For example, in this very thread and many others, I have seen vicious attacks made. (I had given examples, but have edited my post in response to the rules
Webmaster just posted in the "Truth in Medicine" forum).
IMO, friendships should be kept separate from the opinions expressed on Curezone, especially for forum owners and people who have a financial interest because of their private commercial forums and external websites that they place links to in their posts.
People need to learn that it's not a personal attack just because someone disagrees with their point of view.
Sadly, voting on this post will probably be more about who "likes" me or not than about the content of it. If I were to write it anonymously, the voting would probably be quite different. It's sad that Curezone has become this political.
I have no issue with forum owners disagreeing with each other. If they want to have it out regarding different health protocols (with a modicum of manners) in the appropriate
Debate Forums , I'd be most interested to follow the discussions.
It would be wonderful if
Webmaster could find a way to nip it in the bud when the attacks first happen. It's when the attacks are left un-moderated and ignored that they fester and grow, just as an untreated wound can become infected. It becomes a free-for-all when people know that they're allowed to break
TOS and get away with it.
Everyone loves to blame
Webmaster and the moderators for the problems. If everyone followed
TOS in the first place, none of these problems would be happening. Webmaster in his post, is saying: take ownership and lead by your example, especially the forum owners.
