Re: Once again correcting a distorted view of reality

Luella, I understand why you are defending Tony in this matter, and I admire your loyalty. However this does not change what happened, and even though those posts have now been deleted, plenty of people got to read them, as they were left on this forum for several months.

I appreciate that you are trying to paint what Tony did, in a better light, and why you are saying that I perceived this as an attack, but as I said in my reply to the number, I perceived it exactly as it was written, and it was a low act, designed to discredit what I was saying, and discredit me.

There was no possible reason for saying what he did, other than an attempt at discrediting me, using the fact that I have Aspergers, to do this. I'm well aware that you do not see it this way, and believe that Tony was acting out of concern, and I understand why, but I do not believe this, I didn't then, and I do not now.

Tony's post, IMO, was a patronising attempt to make out that my tenacity and passion, when arguing or debating, is somehow caused by the Aspergers syndrome. It was an attack on me as a person, not on the issue we were discussing. This is wrong, and no amount of painting it as some sort of concern for me, will change what it was. I have never, and do not now, ask people to treat me any differently, because I have Aspergers syndrome.

Tony did go on to continue arguing, even after saying he would stop, this is also something that many people also saw, so I don't need to defend this statement. I do not reply to anything Tony posts now, and it appears that he does the same for anything I post, and that is just fine.

This particular act from Tony, and my reaction to it, has nothing to do with whatever problems he has with Hvergethi. It doesn't now, and didn't at the time, so trying to link this is simply wrong.

Hopefully, now that we have expressed our opinions on this matter, it can be left where it belongs, in the past. People will make up their own minds, just as we have.

The WM is correct in asking moderators and forum owners to show a good example to others, and I am hoping for this to become the norm at CZ, along with treating everyone equally, in regards to TOS.
