Re: To Hveragerthi (Webmaster, moderators and all CZers)
thank you, you've made some very relevant and insightful points
I'm not sure I succeeded, but my original intention with responding to this thread was to point out that this is not a black-and-white issue
"Hv is mean and rude and Tony is such a knight in shining armor"
It's just silly and ridiculous. It's much more complicated than that.
Personally I think that the emotional states play a huge role in all kinds of diseases. On this point I very much disagree with Hv. But I'm not sure I am in complete agreement with Charlkee either.
And you know what? That's okay! I don't sit up at night in bed unable to sleep because Hv has a different opinion than me
This entire issue has a lot more to do with people's personal sacred cows than they are willing to admit. And by "sacred cows" what I mean is their own personal agendas, their own personal philosophies of health. When people's personal sacred cows come under fire, they tend to take it very personally and very emotionally and react that way
It's obvious to me that Hv's ego is a bit out of control and that he has offended many people. is often very rude and Does not have the best people skills. Is not a very touchy-feely kind of guy. will run roughshod over somebody else's emotions without thinking twice
But I really believe there is a better way to handle the situation that simply getting together in a pack and running him off like we have run off multiple other people.
Learn to live with each other.
\Hv is one of the few on here with COMPREHENSIVE SCIENTIFIC knowledge as the basis for the claims he makes. That is something that is SEVERELY LACKING in the alternative health community. for that reason alone I hope he stays here and keeps posting even though I sometimes sharply disagree with him
