Are you familiar with the notorious grog...chaz..and the flow of his other incarnations leading to RyanD? He has been, and continues to be THE attack force in all Debate Forums he enters. If you look at the history of this last year you will see that he has been at the root of almost every derails thread based on attacks.

At first people never responded. Then after nothing was being done and he would agressivleuy demean anyone with an opposing view..

Imagine H on steroids with a hurricane at his back and you begin to get where I am coming from with my analysis.

Casual looks through the forum may miss the complete story and history. Talk to spud about this as well. She has been following this quite closely. There are a few intelligent people that are seeing this very clearly.

Our new moderator was biased from the get go and seemed to only go after people she disagreed with and left alone those she did (based on her own posting history just prior to the mod status) even leaving provocated attacks behind while editing or removing responses to those attacks. HUGE BIAS and this just leaves a bad taste in some very good posters mouths.

That doesn't even get into the other agenda about editing posts. When she began to micro manage each post by editing what she felt to be social comment that she did not agree with, this really brought things to light as to how far the bias went. I have never seen such poor moderating and with such a blatant agenda fueling it.

If I am not mistaken I think the Webmaster can look at the original posts and then see how things were edited and how it changed things. It also made many posters not want to participate when everything they post gets revamped with someone with an obvious agenda. This kind of moderating has no place here especially on the debate side.

All that was needed was that the attacks needed to stop. Instead the initial attacks linger and the defenses to these attacks are the ones that get removed. Bizarre.

That and the micromanagment of information flow has created a very strange posting environment.

In this line of thinking you would never be allowed to post anything about zionism because it paints zionism as a bad thing even of you had evidence to back it up. This is the kind of micromanagement that is underway. Anything that goes against a "love and light" sensibility gets edited to reflect a strange political correctness. Dissent is being gate kept in a way not dissimilar to what the government is doing (That of course is now a derogatory and unacceptable critique of the government under new forum rule). Add to this that it is haphazard and only reflects issues that the mode is sensitive to and you can see how things are getting shaped through a belief system rather than a balanced view based on TOS.

To see this you would need to have been following this from the get go and then you would be able to place this in context.

Initially I thought this new mod was a good potential choice but since watching this unfold I have regretted my initial recommendation. So far I have seen no rectification of the bizarre and biased behavior.

This has entered the arena of the surreal at this point.

This needs to be taken up with the Webmaster who can go through and see the edits in the back end so they can see the kind of biased gate keeping that has been going on.

If stopping attacks by angering all of the people that were being attacked so they would leave the forum is this moderators way of creating peace, then mission accomplished.

The attack dog remains in his latest incarnation and going forward with the HELP of the moderator.
