Re: FIR sauna heaters

Hi DWillow

I am looking into Sauna's as well and wondered how much the clearlight sauna is [the smaller 2 person]. It is so confusing especially not really understanding the technologies, aside from wanting to have the longer wavelength as the body absorbs it better--the materials used are another question and without taking a physics course, you just have to take the company's word. But how does one know that these carbon fibers don't become airborne after heated and create another nano-nightmare for people?

I was rather sold on the Cedrus sauna, but then read from a consumer that while it was good, it took up to 45 mins to heat up, a new electrical dedicated line was needed, and that they thought perhaps there were gaps in the construction, which is why it took so long to heat. All companies claim 10-15 mins heat up time period, so am skeptical on all accounts.

I read a bit about the MPS sauna, but heard it weighed 500 llbs., that the shipping company will only bring it to your door [I currently live in a condo] and there again, the dedicated line.

any info would be greatly appreciated,
thanks
