Oh I saw the messages as they occurred, I was just worried about both sides involved getting a chance to see the clarification postings that were underway before it all got hidden.

I was/am also a bit annoyed that my own attempt to clarify/explain the misunderstanding to you got hidden in the process as well and I wasn't sure if you got a chance to see it yet or not.

But basically the whole thing was a misunderstanding and I think you were getting "ugh"-ish over nothing :) ... Foghat's post was about why Debate Forums are helpful (they keep the arguing/bickering out of the useful support forum), but was accidentally posted under the wrong thread, which I guess you saw as him somehow suggesting that your thread should be debative or something...
