Re: heck and encouragement

I have been healthy and have not caught a cold
or virus is years. Still I would not put myself
in harms way and expose myself to the likes of
Ebola or Marburg or Reston which are viruses that
can spread through and wipe out many if not most in
a town or village within a relatively short time.

Recently in the news, they showed an indigenous
tribe in Brazil which had never been exposed
to the outside world. From the photos we could
suppose they were healthy and had strong immune
systems. Still, the effort to protect them was
vigorous since, in the past, people had rushed
in and inadvertently exposed these natives to
viruses which they had never been exposed to and
as such had NO immunity for. Whole tribes were
wiped out. On our own soil, in our past, this
also happened with the American Indian who one
could argue were healthier than the settlers
who transported the viruses to them.

As far as flushes etc. go, I will fight for my
right to do such things in the privacy of my own
home. Liver flushing saved my gall-bladder years
ago when I was having a severe attack and tried
liver flushing before going to an ER. I *wish*
I had been more knowledgeable in more simple
remedies growing up since I could have helped
friends and family who have trusted doctors and
without realizing there were other options opted
for surgeries.

Many of the cleanses and other things you mention
do not fight disease but support the immune system.
We are all exposed to any number of assaults on our
immune system every day. The trick is to amp up the
immune system and cleanse the blood so it can fight
what comes at it.

In my own reclamation of health, I was exposed to
dark field studies and it gave me a much better
understanding of how my immune system works. I could
see the different parasites and watch the candida
*bloom* when it realized it was out of the body.
I could go on but the gist of the epiphany was that
I was supporting an army (my immune system) on
basically nothing. I began my own campaign to use
herbs to kill off the invaders, herbs to support
my own army of cells, and to strengthen my blood
which carried the oxygen and supplies to my army,
the waste away, while also using cleanses to keep
my body's filters clean, much like one might keep
one's car air filters and oil filters clean for
optimal performance.

I am sure your liver tonic has its place in all
this but honestly, even with the world's healthiest
immune system, if a virus which is unknown to it
would invade, it could ravage your body within days
to the point that your systems would fail and you
would be bleeding out or worse. You might be good
to go at a WalMart which can seem like a veritable
"hot zone" during a winter flu and cold season, but
when the big virus guns come, or when the folks
who spend time in research labs to create virus to
attack certain genetic sequences build a virus that
is lethal to your system, it is hard for me to
imagine your tonic doing any better than my own
tonic of choice which is Essiac.

As far as de-worming goes, when my dog has worms
popping out of her butt like gum balls, I give
her oregano oil to kill the invaders off. When I
feel the symptoms of pinworms myself, since I lead
a risky life and walk barefoot in the dirt a lot,
I de-worm myself. Again, this process helps my immune
system which can become compromised by exponential
growth of parasites. To castigate the alternative
treatments of others which are just as valid as your
claim that strengthening and toning the liver is
important, is way less than encouraging, especially
in light of the reality that you are a part of an
online community which offers these options to
allopathic medicine, or in tandem with it.

Encouragement...for the initial poster, virus will
die off once they stop replicating. That is how
they propagate but when they face something which
halts that, its history for them. The blood cells
will clean up the debris. The liver and kidneys
will cleanse the blood and life goes on. Its a
process. What remains are antibodies which is sort
of like the recognition by your body's cells that
that virus is recognized as one which it has fought
and that the antibodies hold the war plan to do it
again should the body be invaded by that virus.
This is also the premise behind infecting one's
body with a small amount of virus to stimulate an
immune reaction before it might have to deal with
it on a larger scale. This of course only works
if the virus has been tamed in a laboratory. There
are countless ones that have not since research
is unable to keep up with the number of ways a
virus mutates to outwit its host....

best wishes,
Zoe
