Re: I need help . . .
HIya Charlie
I think your latest title is excellent. The idea of making it payable and downloadable online is also excellent - of course publish it too if you wish. I prefer books to reading from a screen.
I know some have suggested keeping the content simple, writing a small , simple book - but i have to disagree on this point as there are thousands of 'simple' books on herbal healing already...which is great to get a person more familiar with using herbs. However, there seems to be a gap in the market for more indepth knowledge of the use of herbs.
I find many books frustrating now, because they are not in-depth enough. Some boks list the herbs, the symptoms to use them for and that is it! This to me leaves the reader guessing how to use the herbs...which parts of the plant...at what point in growth to use the plant etc
Detail as much as you like. I would wholly encourage that.
Dammit i would pay a months wages on a book about herbology If it gave me ALL the info i needed to use herbs EFFECTIVELY.
Please don't be like the late Jack Temple who (as far as i have discovered) has very little information about his practices with herbs and such. There was a school set up too in his name but i have failed to find info on it online, and suspect it closed down. He was probably too busy still treating to have the time to write in-depth about his craft!
Good luck with the book :-)
