Re: Not a Christ, the Christ.

1 Peter 1:18-20 "You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of the times for your sake."

Says absolutely nothing about Christ = pardon.  Christos is interpreted into English as Christ - anointed, a very common bible practice and not unique to Jesus.  Pauls teaching is in direct opposition to the teachings of Jesus (an antichrist) who clearly says that we are like him:

John 14:12 “I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I am going to the Father."

As you read that verse in 1 Peter, are you aware that Saul was a Christian killing Roman Pharisee who never ever met Jesus?  Saul was blinded on the road to Damascus and never regained his sight - keeping always the ways of the Pharisees.  It is the Pharisees who have taken over the Nazarenes (Acts 24:5 states this very clearly) and renamed it "Christianity."

Jesus message was not unique and says very clearly that those who believed John the Baptist (not Jesus) would enter the kingdom of god:

Matthew 21:31: Jesus said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.

Tax collectors and harlots believed John the Baptist and entered the kingdom of god.  It wasn't even unique to Jesus.  So anyone who believes in and pursues the kingdom of god - regardless of who teaches it, will enter the kingdom of god.
