Re: Christian Zionist claim Jesus not the Messiah

"sorry guys and gals, Jesus Christ is very God. 100percent God, and 100 percent man. all the phrophisaies relate only to him. He is the Messiah, the son of the Living God. one day every tongue will confess and every knee will bow to him, and clain he is Lord our God, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. one day the veil will be lifted from the Jews eyes and they will see and fall on their faces."

Jesus never ever claimed to be "god."  When the Jews picked up stones to stone him, he quoted the bible of his day:

John 10:31-36  The Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of these do you stone me?" The Jews answered him, "It is not for a good work that we stone you but for blasphemy; because you, being a man, make yourself God." Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If he called them gods to whom the word of God came (and scripture cannot be broken), do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?  (he was referring to Psalms 82:6 "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High..")

There are many, many sons (and daughters) of god - including you and everyone else on the planet.

Genesis 6:1-2: When men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took to wife such of them as they chose.

Deuteronomy 14:1 "You are the sons of the LORD your God.

"When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" Job 38:7

"....Adam, which was the son of God" Luke 3:38.

Jesus never called himself "the messiah."  He acknowledged the he was a "Christ" - but that simply means an anointed one and if you read the OT you will find that many were anointed.   Greek for anointing is christo, which is what Jesus was.

The John 3:16 mantra is correctly translated by Wuest (professor emeritus of NT Greek at Moody Bible Inst.) as "uniquely" begotten son, and others correctly translate this passage in the same manner.

It's time to believe what Jesus taught in his day, instead of what the modern Pharisees are teaching in its place.
