This Awareness indicates that this is not associated with these spontaneous human combustions except that those forces from that Inner Plane can, through certain vibrations, help to trigger a chemical reaction within the system. This Awareness indicates this as associated with the smell of sulfur and the intense vibrations of forces use a ray-type force that can be used on certain individuals over a period of time and gradually the individual’s chemicals in the body become susceptible to change which then can lead to the internal fire, or the catalyst that breaks into flame.
This Awareness indicates that this is not the same as a Radionics device, or Psionics device although it is of a similar nature. This as being more of a ray itself emanating energies instead of thoughts. These energies themselves being destructive to the cells of the individual and causing alterations in the cells of the individual. This Awareness indicates that Psionics devices generally are considered those which carry thoughts or images which have their effects upon the cells, as messages to the cells of an individual.
This Awareness indicates that the use of these inter-dimensional rays or radiation as are those which are considered to be extremely dangerous in regard to the inter-dimensional planes. This Awareness indicates that only those of the most demented type of consciousness would use the rays. This Awareness indicates however, that this is done on occasion and accounts for the spontaneous combustion.
This Awareness indicates that in order for the spontaneous combustion to occur, it is necessary that certain chemicals within the individuals system reach the point of being volatile, so that only a small alteration is necessary to ignite the chemicals into a reaction that causes the burning effect. This Awareness indicates that this relates to phosphorus and other chemicals and that throwing water on this would do no good; that the fire comes from within the body and burns outward, just as nitroglycerin is a highly volatile, and when reaching a certain point, it can ignite, causing the internal combustion or that which is called the spontaneous combustion.

(Note: Although I personally channel the God Consciousness or what has been called ALL THAT IS, the following message was channeled by another person named Paul, which was a friend and teacher.)
This Awareness indicates that this is associated with forces that are unseen on this plane of reality, which can emit a kind of ‘Ray’.
This Awareness indicates these forces being of a nature whereby they can emit a ray toward a particular individual and this creates an internal combustion, this not to unlike the microwave oven and its affect on who placed within it. This Awareness indicates that like wise, this particular type of Ray affects the chemicals within one’s body; these being rays of a much shorter frequency than the microwave.
This Awareness indicates these affecting the body from the inside out, through a manipulation of the chemicals within, so that these chemicals are altered and become volatile. This Awareness indicates that it simply cooks the entity from the inside; and the heat, when reaching the surface, bursts into flame. This Awareness indicates there are many reasons for these forces having the use of this against others. In some cases, the victim has been under a contract, perhaps several lifetimes previously, to some force, and is not fulfilling that contract.
In other cases, the entity is a threat to these Dark Forces, and therefore are prime targets. This Awareness indicates that those who are protecting themselves with the Pure Light of the Christ Consciousness are generally relatively safe from these rays. This Awareness indicates that this as that which may be equated to the “Malevolent 7 ray, or death ray, which is often use from other dimensions against entities upon this plane; these being used by Dark Forces against those who are threats to the Forces of Darkness and who are not keeping their Light in the highest order. This Awareness indicates that alcohol can be a contributing factor in creating the chemical imbalance which allows the body to become susceptible to these energies mentioned.
This Awareness reminds entities that you are surrounded by different vibratory rates, with dimensions overlapping into this dimension; and that many of those on the Inner dimensions are capable of having technologies that cut through dimensions and affect things on this plane.
This Awareness indicates there have been certain technologies on this plane, whereby rays are capable of creating this same type of phenomenon. This Awareness indicates these as death rays; and in some cases, these may be responsible, as victims of the test of this Ray. This Awareness indicates these in reference to rays created by the military for military purposes.

It is not often that a Skeptic can experience the sensation of fulfilment that comes with seeing one of our areas of interest finally laid to rest, but some of us must have felt it when we viewed Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC) on ABCTV (Nov 11). Originally produced for the BBC, the programme went somewhat further than a similar programme of several years ago and may well have provided the final explanation for a long-term mystery.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, throughout history there have been cases of the remains of people being found, usually in closed rooms, with the majority of their bodies reduced to ash, only some outlying pieces, like the lower legs, remaining unconsumed, and with no serious damage to the other contents of the room.
This phenomenon had been quite baffling to fire investigators until recent years and, given that human beings are such curious animals, this mystery has spawned many strange explanations. They range from the moderately sublime to the patently ridiculous. On one end of this spectrum, it has been seriously suggested that a build-up of methane in the intestines could
be, in rare cases, somehow ignited by enzyme activity. This suggestion was laid to rest in the earlier programme by a physiologist pointing out that such an effect would surely have shown up in a rash of cattle bursting into flames, that species being far more prolific methane generators than human beings. At the other end of the spectrum were suggestions of some sort of unknown cosmic energies (that staple of the crank pseudoscientist) being involved.Indeed the notion that human beings spontaneously burst into flames has never had much going for it and in almost every reported case, there has been a very obvious source of ignition present. But the phenomenon retained its mystery because of the almost total reduction of a human body to ash. Sober forensic anatomists were attracted to the idea of a purely localised
fire, started by a careless cigarette or contact with an open fire, slowly consuming the body, with clothing or bedding acting as a wick, and body fat acting as fuel. This appeared to be a reasonable explanation, though there seemed to be some confounding evidence. Fire investigators pointed out that even after very fierce domestic fires, human remains were still recognisably human and, though badly charred, sufficient parts of the bodies remained to establish the cause of death. Other evidence was
adduced that after cremations, in which bodies had been subjected to very high temperatures, bones still had to be reduced to granules in a ball mill, because bones tend to be quite fire-resistant.This programme followed an experiment conducted by Dr John de Haan, of the California Criminalistics Institute, who had investigated a real murder case in which a body was found burning, unusually for 'SHC' cases in that it was found outdoors. In his experiment, the carcase of a fully grown pig (selected because pigs and humans have similar fat distribution) was
wrapped in a blanket, deposited on a carpet, and set alight in circumstances that matched those in various 'SHC' cases.And a remarkable demonstration it turned out to be. After some time, when common sense should have told us that all the blanket and carpet should have been reduced to ash, we could see pig fat bubbling from the carcase, soaking the charred material, thus acting exactly as a candle wick. It maintained a hot, though low-flame, fire and it kept doing so for hours.
After around five hours the mystery of the bones began to unravel. The bone marrow (about 80% fat) was contributing to keeping the fire going, and was leading to the reduction of the bones themselves to ash. And the element that is missing in crematoria is present in these cases - time. Cremations last about 1.5 hours, but in 'SHC' cases the fire burns for many, many
hours.The mystery of why lower limbs so often remained after one of these fires, was explained by the low fat content of these parts and their remoteness from the seat of the fire - there is not much fat in shins and feet to sustain this sort of fire. Why rooms in which such fires occurred showed certain classical signs - nearby items not being burnt, TV sets and wall clocks showing signs of melting, but not of burning, was accounted for by the low intensity and localised nature of the fire, leading to a very hot
layer of gas products in the upper part of the room. The fire is localised to the body and its immediate environment, heat builds up, but it is not enough to cause other items to ignite, only to scorch or melt.Of course, there must be many other cases that start in similar circumstances, in which other parts of the room do catch alight and then you have a classic house fire. But no one has ever suggested that there is anything mysterious about houses catching fire and the occupants being burnt to death - careless cigarette smoking in bed, electrical faults, arson - all have plenty of substantiated cases. Only in very rare cases have physical circumstances allowed the fire to remain localised and has
there been sufficient time for the body to have been reduced to ashes (in almost every case where SHC has been offered as an explanation, the victim has been alone in the house).This was a classic example of good science; making an hypothesis and testing it. And this test showed exactly what the hypothesis had predicted, and so should set at rest at least one of the myths that has exercised the minds of some who would invest the world with unexplainable energies or other mysterious factors.
One other item of note, was that this particular belief may very well be culturally specific. We are often asked if some paranormal beliefs are peculiar to one country or another, and, outside of the obvious ones, it is difficult to determine if this is the case. However, in this case, we may have a partial answer. Dr Dominic Dehane, a forensic scientists at the Police Science Laboratory in Toulouse, when asked about SHC cases in France, said: "It is only in America and Great Britain that people believe in the myth of spontaneous human combustion. In the rest of the world we never hear about that."
As Skeptics we should be happy that there is one fewer fronts on which to carry on the struggle, but it would be an optimist indeed who believed this will be the case. No one who has invested so much of his personal belief into inventing the notion of mysterious cosmic energies is likely to be deterred by mere evidence.

Another heavily biased skeptic attempt to try and explain away a legitimate phenomenon by belittling the opposition and using one specific instance to explain all cases and circumstances.
I love the part about "mysterious cosmic forces". Has the author heard about gravity, electricity or electromagnetism yet?
I realise that in certain circumstances, a prepared organic body can act like a candle and self-sustain a small fire enough to reduce the body to ashes.
Let us look at the critical phase. According to their explanation, ignition occurs when either clothing or the flesh itself catch alight. If my clothing were to catch on fire from an external ignition source, you would certainly not find the room fine except for a small charred patch as in SHC. I would most likely set the room on fire with my struggles to extinguish the blaze and remove the clothes, and cause damage and disturbance in my struggles. If my hand, for instance, were to ignite, you can bet your bottom dollar that the fire would not last the several hours needed to consume my body. I would be in horrible pain and immediately try to put it out, not stay perfectly still and allow the blaze to cremate me.
As soon as skeptics can focus on the forest rather than the trees, and famously stop trying to bore holes in a piece of wood where it is the thinnest, then they may contribute something to the scientific knowledge of mankind rather than just a feeling of smugness and superiority over the "unwashed ignorant masses".

Just the other day when i was walking down the steet some thing struck me and it wasnt lightning, i was thinking about the statistics that i heard on radio one that morning...more than 5% of the british nation have early signs that they could spontaniously combust at any moment, is this true and how can i find out if i am in this unlucky few!!! help im scared, is there any thing i can do to stop it???

Actually, I saw on TV - one of those myth debunker shows, that people actually light themselves on fire by accident, like from a lighter or match of something. Flesh, once is starts to burn, is just like the fat of an animal. Once it's started, it doesn't stop.
It's a myth. I think they've proved it's not real. So relax.

SYDNEY (Reuters) - An Australian man built up a 40,000-volt charge of static electricity in his clothes as he walked, leaving a trail of scorched carpet and molten plastic and forcing firefighters to evacuate a building.
Frank Clewer, who was wearing a woolen shirt and a synthetic nylon jacket, was oblivious to the growing electrical current that was building up as his clothes rubbed together.
When he walked into a building in the country town of Warrnambool in the southern state of Victoria Thursday, the electrical charge ignited the carpet.
"It sounded almost like a firecracker," Clewer told Australian radio Friday.
"Within about five minutes, the carpet started to erupt."
Employees, unsure of the cause of the mysterious burning smell, telephoned firefighters who evacuated the building.
"There were several scorch marks in the carpet, and we could hear a cracking noise -- a bit like a whip -- both inside and outside the building," said fire official Henry Barton.
Firefighters cut electricity to the building thinking the burns might have been caused by a power surge.
Clewer, who after leaving the building discovered he had scorched a piece of plastic on the floor of his car, returned to seek help from the firefighters.
"We tested his clothes with a static electricity field meter and measured a current of 40,000 volts, which is one step shy of spontaneous combustion, where his clothes would have self-ignited," Barton said.
"I've been firefighting for over 35 years and I've never come across anything like this," he said.
Firefighters took possession of Clewer's jacket and stored it in the courtyard of the fire station, where it continued to give off a strong electrical current.
David Gosden, a senior lecturer in electrical engineering at Sydney University, told Reuters that for a static electricity charge to ignite a carpet, conditions had to be perfect.

Many people believe that Spontaneous Human Combustion was first documented in such early texts as the Bible, but, scientifically speaking, these accounts are too old and secondhand to be seen as reliable evidence.
Over the past 300 years, there have been more than 200 reports of persons burning to a crisp for no apparent reason.
The first reliable historic evidence of Spontaneous Human Combustion appears to be from the year 1673, when Frenchman Jonas Dupont published a collection of Spontaneous Human Combustion cases and studies entitled De Incendiis Corporis Humani Spontaneis. Dupont was inspired to write this book after encountering records of the Nicole Millet case, in which a man was acquitted of the murder of his wife when the court was convinced that she had been killed by spontaneous combustion. Millet, a hard-drinking Parisian was found reduced to ashes in his straw bed, leaving just his skull and finger bones. The straw matting was only lightly damaged. Dupont's book on this strange subject brought it out of the realm of folkloric rumor and into the popular public imagination.
On April 9, 1744, Grace Pett, 60, an alcoholic residing in Ipswich England, was found on the floor by her daughter like "a log of wood consumed by a fire, without apparent flame." Nearby clothing was undamaged.
In the 1800's is evidenced in the number of writers that called on it for a dramatic death scene. Most of these authors were hacks that worked on the 19th century equivalent of comic books, "penny dreadfuls", so no one got too worked up about it; but two big names in the literary world also used SHC as a dramatic device, and one did cause a stir.
The first of these two authors was Captain Marryat who, in his novel Jacob Faithful, borrowed details from a report in the Times of London of 1832 to describe the death of his lead character's mother, who is reduced to "a sort of unctuous pitchey cinder."
Twenty years later, in 1852, Charles Dickens used Spontaneous Human Combustion to kill off a character named Krook in his novel Bleak House. Krook was a heavy alcoholic, true to the popular belief at the time that SHC was caused by excessive drinking. The novel caused a minor uproar; George Henry Lewes, philosopher and critic, declared that SHC was impossible, and derided Dickens' work as perpetuating a uneducated superstition. Dickens responded to this statement in the preface of the 2nd edition of his work, making it quite clear that he had researched the subject and knew of about thirty cases of SHC. The details of Krook's death in Bleak House were directly modeled on the details of the death of the Countess Cornelia de Bandi Cesenate by this extraordinary means; the only other case that Dickens actually cites details from is the Nicole Millet account that inspired Dupont's book about 100 years earlier.
In 1951the Mary Reeser case recaptured the public interest in Spontaneous Human Combustion. Mrs. Reeser, 67, was found in her apartment on the morning of July 2, 1951, reduced to a pile of ashes, a skull, and a completely undamaged left foot. This event has become the foundation for many a book on the subject of SHC since, the most notable being Michael Harrison's Fire From Heaven, printed in 1976. Fire From Heaven has become the standard reference work on Spontaneous Human Combustion.
On May 18, 1957, Anna Martin, 68, of West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was found incinerated, leaving only her shoes and a portion of her torso. The medical examiner estimated that temperatures must have reached 1,700 to 2,000 degrees, yet newspapers two feet away were found intact.
On December 5, 1966, the ashes of Dr. J. Irving Bentley, 92, of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, were discovered by a meter reader. Dr. Bentley's body apparently ignited while he was in the bathroom and burned a 2-1/2-by-3-foot hole through the flooring, with only a portion of one leg remaining intact. Nearby paint was unscorched.
Perhaps the most famous case occurred in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mary Hardy Reeser, a 67-year-old widow, spontaneously combusted while sitting in her easy chair on July 1, 1951. The next morning, her next door neighbor tried the doorknob, found it hot to the touch and went for help. She returned to find Mrs. Reeser, or what was left of her, in a blackened circle four feet in diameter.
All that remained of the 175-pound woman and her chair was a few blackened seat springs, a section of her backbone, a shrunken skull the size of a baseball, and one foot encased in a black stain slipper just beyond the four-foot circle. Plus about 10 pounds of ashes.
The police report declared that Mrs. Reeser went up in smoke when her highly flammable rayon-acetate nightgown caught fire, perhaps because of a dropped cigarette.
But one medical examiner stated that the 3,000-degree heat required to destroy the body should have destroyed the apartment as well. In fact, damage was minimal - the ceiling and upper walls were covered with soot. No chemical accelerants, incidentally, were found.
In 1944 Peter Jones, survived this experience and reported that there was no sensation of heat nor sighting of flames. He just saw smoke. He stated that he felt no pain.
