Straining and Emotions

Another day is finished. I have had an odd day emotionally. In the late afternoons and early evenings my thoughts often turn to food. I really struggle then. But that is true even when I am eating. So I must have fed my habit for afternoon snacks and caved in to so many evening cravings that my body thinks that is our standard. Part of this fast is to set new standards. New reasons for healthy living. Yes, new beginnings, however cheesy that may sound. I loved the message about straining the juice. One day I was out of town from early morning until late night. It was the one day that I could not juice fresh and I purchased some "Naked" juice. First of all-Yuck! It definately did not taste good anymore. Secondly, I really suffered the next day. My hunger pains came back in such full force that I could hardly continue the fast. I am blaming it on that juice. I use an ACME juicer which seems fine in getting all the pulp out, but tommorow I will strain it even more in hopes for better results.
A step gained tonight. Emotional conflict does not need to be followed with eating. Peace to all
