Last Day before Next MC
Date: 3/15/2006 10:24:51 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2546 times Today I'm getting ready emotionally, mentally and physically for my MC tomorrow. I started with a fresh orange, banana and strawberry smoothie. My daughter wanted more to take to school for morning snack (GREAT!) and hubby had a big glass before he left for the morning. I know he'll eat at McDonald's for lunch, but at least he got a healthy serving of fruit first!
I am feeling the effects of the unhealthy food I ate yesterday. My face, hands and feet are REALLY bloated, and I am a bit constipated this morning, even with the Smooth Move tea last night. I'll stick with the fruit until lunch and then have a big salad. Then I'll just have the tea for dinner, and I'll be ready for the first lemonade in the morning. I am excited about getting back off of food. I still can't trust myself to make the best choices when I'm tired, irritated, etc. When I'm feeling great, it's no problem. At least it's progress, and I know I'll get to the point where I make the best choices most of the time. But I have to be patient, and remember how long I've reinforced bad habits....
