Enjoying Eating, but missing that "light" feeling
One bad meal can't derail the process...

Today we started the day with a raspberry, pineapple, peach smoothie. 100% nutritious. Everyone loved it. My daughter (7) didn't feel well this morning, and went back to bed with an ambitious pile of books (about 40). She read about 10 of them, and then decided she was well enough for toast and hot chocolate. Hubby made it for her. I would have given her some more fruit, but I wasn't home....
My lunch was pretty bad. I went to a chinese buffet with my son and some friends. I loaded my plate with vegetables, and had a little sesame chicken. The vegees were fried and covered with a heavy sauce, so they weren't healthy. Fortunately, I did have 2 large BM's after I got home, and I am feeling better now. Thankfully, my colon is very regular, so this gunk will get moved out. I could be depressed about making a bad choice, but instead, I'm going to "forgive" myself the occasional splurge, be glad I did control the portions, and move on. It's a big salad for dinner, and then back to juices in the morning. I'm thinking fruit, green smoothies, and salads for the last few days before I leave.
My scale is still sitting at 232 (but I didn't weigh myself after that lunch!), so I'm OK with this as my stabilized weight. I am sure it will be MUCH lower for my 18th anniversary. This is going to be a GREAT year!
