Day 8, adding apple juice; raw crackers prepped
15.5 pounds gone; crackers in the dehydrator
Date: 2/27/2006 6:46:25 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2480 times Today is Day 8, and I'm going to start adding in some diluted apple juice in prep for my liver flush. I also finished prepping my raw crackers, and got them into the dehydrator. I am not really experienced with these, but I did make some once last spring w/wax paper. This time I'm using teflex sheets. Hopefully it'll be much easier! By the way, got my daughter involved with the crackers; maybe she'll like them. She's more into "natural" food, so I keep lots of vegees and fruit around for her. My son is much more into gourmet, and will be making my raw nut loaf when I'm ready to eat it.
I am getting very excited about trying to make more raw creations. Once my dehydrator is free, I'm going to start some sweet potato "bbq chips". My son and I LOVED these the one time I made them before. Too much work, but SOOOOO good!
I'll try posting the recipe when I make it. I tend to just throw things in without measuring sometimes (like my crackers; I think they'll be a bit too strong on the red onion, but that's OK.)
Down a bit more on the scale today (228 from 243.5). Very pleased, but really wish I hadn't let my weight creep back up. I'd be under 200 if I had maintained prior to the cleanse!
I'm off to clean up the HUGE mess in my kitchen, and to make dinner for the family.
