I enjoy reading the blogs and forums here, and always come to CureZone first when seeking health information for friends, family, and clients.
When I write a comment in a forum or blog, I make every effort to be polite, and respect the other person's point of view. In fact, I usually only post comments when I have something supportive to say.
Now I know debate forums thrive here too, and there's something to be said for dialogues between people who have opposing points of view. New and useful information can and frequently does emerge from such interchanges.
I just have felt rather bereft and sad here at CureZone lately, because my oft- polite little comments and writings sit dormant and unanswered, responseless. Especially the comments I have left on other blogs recently. Now I know one should not write anything anywhere on the 'net with expectations of any kind. And for the most part, I have lived my life for years insofar as possible without expectations. Works out better that way most of the time...
It's clear to see that often those who are contrary and have forum/blog behaviors much like so-called flamers and trolls get volumes of comments and responses.
It is not my nature to be an attention-seeker. That's just not me.
I'm here at CureZone because I respect the overall quality of the information that can be found here. And when I've really needed it, amazing support and love has come my way--for example, last year, when I had a major health issue, and spoke of it here. Someone here who I had not previously known, but had respected, sent me an email, and for awhile helped me with advice, and resources, and this really made a difference in my recovery process.
Right now I feel quite alone and isolated here.
I try to focus on commenting on or responding to words that actually mean something to me on a deep level, and I put great care into my words.
Every now and then, I share a joke, or quote, or poem that seems worth sharing at the time. They may not be the most profound things in the universe, but they have meant something to me. Most blog writers do that.
Your feedback is essential to me in my journey forward.
I want to remain here. I like it here. And if you feel inspired, and have something to say, I would love to hear from you.
Life is an unpredictable journey, and friendship along the path is a treasure.
Love,
v8
