you know
Essiac is an amazing thing. I have read years ago that in addition to cancer, it cured a very wide amount of illnesses and diseases.
It is best brewed exactly according to renne caisse's detailed directions not in a capsule or something.
Essiac is her name spelled backwards and the woman was hounded for 50 years..the only thing that saved her from jail fro healing people when the old Indian formula fell in her lap as a young nurse was always working with a medical doctor (she was Canadian) and never charging a cent for it..still she, like so many of those who help so many was continually persecuted to bring this wonderful, natural healing to us.
Renee, bathing a woman in the hospital with a deformed breast asked about it. the lady told how doctors said she would be dead in 4 months and needed chemo and radiation. Instead, an Indian person gave her this passed down formula coming from past generations and the women finally decided to do the formula (essiac tea) and completely recovered,
Renee thought it interesting, this formula the woman had insisted she write down but threw it on a shelf and soon forgot it but suddenly her aunt got cancer and was given 6 months to live and she remembered the formula and saved her aunt's life with it.
Her story and also how the formula came tot he public is quite interesting.
also many people on dialysis or with bad kidneys have blood
Sugar problems and he budwig cottage cheese mix you did is said to also help cancer and diabetes so it makes sense both of these helped you.
I have read one can add the cracked seeds or maybe even sprouted (I think you need to sprout flax on a screen according to rita in her book "dining in the raw: as they are so mucilaginous. but still use the flax seed oil..
to just add more flax seed oil to your diet in general, a mixture of half organic butter and flax seed oil sprinkle with dulse flakes is good on corn on the cob.
Another healthy recipe is called superbutter and it is from the laleche league cookbook from the 80s.
Mix one pond of butter with 2 cups of oil (I would use a mixture of flax seed oil, extra virgin olive oil (and if desired any of these raw coconut oil, grapeseed oil, walnut oil, canola oil all cold pressed), also add a spoon of dry milk and a tbs of lecithin and mix it up.
It makes a saturated fat less saturated and it stays soft for spreading. I have frozen it before too.
Another way to get some good things in your diet is miso mayo..mix white miso, tamari soy sauce (or braggs amino acids), garlic or onions minced if desired, raw apple cider vinegar, a little water and oil (using same mix or the kind o like)..this is a tasty salad dressing full of good things,
