I do have a candida problem which I'm hoping this protocol will help (sounds like at should). I would think that alkalizing foods would be ideal in the AM, but I tend to be pressed for time and ususally gravitate toward hot cooked cereals, lately a lot of rice. Which I know is not typically good for candida. I'm having a hard time breaking the grain habit, and I'm stumped about what to do in the morning. Meal preparations in general tend to stress me out, since I have so little time for it. I've tried smoothies without much success in the past, ususally they don't digest well for me. I have a great juicer, but almost never use it because of the time factor.
I know it takes effort, but stress is also acid-forming...... so I think I'm trying to find a way to have nutritious, alkalizing meals without spending hours every day planning and preparing a menu.
Breakfast in particular... any thoughts?
