I read one of his recent published letters today. He had a unique story:
He was dropped off 14 miles from his house at midnight on a rainy/lightening night. So dark he couldn't see the road he was walking on unless it lightened. After a few miles a drunk driver started to hassle him and he soon took off for the woods and ran into a barb wire fence and fliped over to the ground. He pulled himself out and ran until he fell into a creek, late at night, raining and so dark he couldn't tell directions and in the cold mountains of PA.
Not a great story for a man quite a bit older than I.
The drunk came back several times and even shined his car lights accross the fields searching for him, why? He has no idea, heck, it could have even been the cops, etc...he really doesn't know who or what they were...He sensed danger and felt his only choice was to run into the woods..
He stayed in the woods until daylight and then started walking again and soon a local man came buy that he knew and he gave him a ride home.
This is the man that created the B&W ointment 30+ years ago and the Base for the Now Longevity Spices and all so much more. Still a simple poor man in his sixties that doesn't mind a hard days work and long walk home. I am sure his wife laughed when he made it home, they are just like that, they see every adventure as funny.
A simple life most of us will never know. This man could have been wealthy, but just like Dr. John R. Christopher, he chose a life of passion to help his fellow man an not a life of having $$$$$$$$$.

MH, I grew up on a millvillage here in the sunny south. Thing about simple folks, they don't know they are poor and they really don't care. They certainly get more out of the simple pleasures than the rest of us do. Entertainment is friends and family ... it can certainly be worse!!!!!- Poor is just a state of mind... red5

This is a reply to # 945,021In 1845 Heny David Thoreau built himself a small cabin on the shore of Walden Pond, near Concord; there he remained for more than two years, “living deep and sucking out all the marrow of life.” Wishing to lead a life free of materialistic pursuits, he supported himself by growing vegetables and by surveying and doing odd jobs in the nearby village. He devoted most of his time to observing nature, reading, and writing, and he kept a detailed journal of his observations, activities, and thoughts. It was from this journal that he later distilled his masterpiece, Walden.
I bring this up because I believe it was in Walden that he observed an Indian Village where, compared to white's they lived in poverty, but the Indian's never saw it that way. Their attitude was that all of nature's resources belonged to everyone (they didn't understand the concept of "owning" land). The only way you made it your's was to kill it or work it, etc.
He saw them as content and happy in the natural world until Europeans came and changed all that. Anyway I guess this is one reason why I love camping and hiking so much. - Re: The Amish Healer, by MH MH 108

This is a reply to # 944,901Money Money Money What a trick.I was raised poor,my father damaged his back when i was 5 yrs. old.The Doctors fixed him up reeeeeal good.Removing disk in lower back,after 3 sergerys,started his life of HELL on earth.I grew up getting his meds. about 3 to 5 times a day.He chased them down with milk,thinking it would coat his stomach from the meds.harm and plus give calcium,of coarse.After 30YRS. of traction,heating pads,recliner,he always said that God would heal him one day.Then it happened.The Savior came,"Knodledge".Are you ready for this------------He starting distilling his water and God HEALED HIM.Sitting in the recliner all alone one day,a warm feeling went up and down his spine,and the Pain released.He said the warm feeling,was Gods hands running up and down his spine. How true it was. My father developed or already had a fungus under his nails,so he went to the Doctor not Knowing his fate.The meds. gave to him for the Fungus,sent a blood clot to the lung and ended Jurney.Something happened that day that changed my life forever.God started speaking to me.Every one including my wife,with exception of my mother and baby girl,Turned on me like vicious wolves.My customers of 17 yrs. Hired my superviser from under me.My Income went from 250-k a year to nothing.Its still to this day has me finiancially paralized,bankrupt.But seeing beyond MONEY'' it has saved my life.Because of this,Ive been studying, and come to Great Great Knodledge,M.H.being part of this.The customer that betrayed me,wants me back .I have been helping him with the cancer he came down with 6 months ago. What seemed to be tradgety,was truly a God Send.My finiances will recover.I may make a dollar or too on my Hair growing,who knows.But i see a great future,and am excited about the future.I realized i was a mule for those that betrayed Me. MoreThis is a reply to # 945,122The story of JOB fits many in that we may loose most everything, but if we stand true, God has a way to restore it all and then some as a reward for trusting.
