DAMS has been around many many years. there have been many complaints over the yrs that some dentists who belong to them do root canals and do not follow a proper protocol for mercury removal, such is the case with the IAOMT, as well. both are membership organizations. anyone can join IAOMT, even those dentists who place mercury fillings, all they have to do is pay dues. i don't know if DAMS is the same way. i was told by one dentist that IAOMT is all about the money (he is a former board member of them) and i was told by another dentist that DAMS is all about the money. so, be careful and screen any dentists throroghly that they recommend. if you need help finding a dentist, you can email me, as i have compiled lists of them in different states. it is best to choose one who does not do root canals and one who knows how to do cavitations.
