I fell victim to the illusion that a vasectomy is safe and with slim to no consequences, I was assured this by my doctor. Even after asking him if PVPS is an issue, he said he had only one case in his 30? years and it was resolved.
So I went through with the operation. All was fine accept after the local in my right vas. I felt a very sharp pain when he was clamping or cutting, more anesthesia and it was ok.
Then about a month after, the pain started and is progressing.
It feels like an occasional squeezing of my tactical with a feeling best described as “blue-balls” and pain in my side and down my leg on the right similar to growing pains.
My right epididymis feels hard and swollen along with the vas.
The doctor preformed a closed ended vasectomy
My question is should I see another doctor and have a “open end vasectomy” done?
