Most of the malic acid supplaments I've looked at claim to have magnesium and magnesium malate in them. Is this normal and/or acceptable to use for liver flush? To give you an idea what I'm talking about here is a description I copied from a vitamin web site:
Magnesium Malate is formed from the reaction of magnesium and malic acid. Each tablet contains: (152 mg.) Magnesium from (1000 mg.) Magnesium Malate and (825 mg.) Malic Acid from (1000 mg.) Magnesium Malate.

The Mg malate is a complexed form of malic acid. Seems this one is quite potent (mine is only 100mg of malic acid per capsule). This preparation will supply 825mg of malic acid per tablet which is what you need.
Andreas suggests that 1500 - 2000mg of malic acid be used daily, taken with water throughout the day. Using the preparation described above, you could dissolve two of the tablets in 16oz water and drink it throughout the day. I will take 4 of my capsules 4X/day for the preparation period (typically 5 days leading to the LF).
I got mine from High Vibe, a store in NYC. The one you found on the net seems fine.

For straight malic acid I leave you a link which comes from Andreas. They use malic acid to make wine. He said it also cheap.

This is a reply to # 93,454I bought plain malic acid powder from Julia Chang at Sensiblehealth.com. It was inexpensive, but shipping to U.S. was obviously extra. I mix it into diluted cranberry juice, but drink carefully with a straw because I noticed more tooth sensitivity if I'm not careful with acids that way.- Re: What kind of malic acid is corre... voltussaja

That's where I got malic acid. Comes in 800mg capsules for $5, so it's still affordable and easier than eating tons of apples before LF.
