Today is my birthday. In some ways I have felt very discouraged because the bad pain has returned after my being almost pain free for several months. I am also markedly weaker and my sense of balance is pretty well gone. I wondered (and still wonder) if I have the physical, emotional and spiritual strength to go on another year like this.

Then I went to work. Somehow it had leaked out that it was my birthday, I did not tell anyone this year. Of course everyone wanted to know how old I was, and every single person I told said I did not look 55. Most said I looked ten years younger. I owe all this to Lugol's Solution. Iodine has so much to improve my skin. It is clearer, lines are reduced, and the texture and natural color has improved so much I now look better without make-up than I did with it only a few months ago. In addition, my vision is sharper and I am not as nearsighted as I used to be. My nails have also improved. Almost all of the white spots have gone away and the nail have a good healthy pink color. I never wear nail polish, and now I have no qualms showing my nails.

The good news is that I have not had any cake today. The bad news for some is that everyone pitched in and I was given a Big Mac with candles on it, fries and a giant Coke. Y'all can lecture me all you want, but that was the best meal I've had in a long time; and the fact it was given with love and a quirky sense of humor makes it even more precious.

Thanks to everyone here who has taught me so much, and helped give me the courage to try this remarkable supplement. I don't know what the future holds for me, but for now supplementing with Lugol's will be a part of it.
