My tmj drives me mad...and I need help to stop popping and cracking my jaw...It does it on its own and sometimes I do it on purpose. It aches and aches and cracking it makes it feel better. I know its only making it worse though.

Ive been to doctors and they say there is nothing they can do for me. My tmj began shortly after a severe blow to the face in a car wreck when I was ten years old. My jaw locked up while I was by myself and terrified, I sorta forced it to open and close {painfully}. Ever since then its been popping, cracking and locking, and falling out of place sometimes and needing to be shoved back into place. Its terrible. My face is slightly non symmetrical too because my jaw bones feel like they are disinigrating. Im only 25 and I feel like this nightmare will only continue to get worse.

I cant even give my boyfriend oral sex because of my TMJ {jaw locks up within a minute}..sorry if that seems stupid but it makes me really sad I cant pleasure him without causing terrible pain to myself.

This is just a whiny post Im sorry. Ive just been dealing with this for 15 years and wonder if there is any sort of relief or anything that could help me. I was taking glucosamine supplements for my jaw to heal before and wonder if I should go back to it...
