CS only works if it is wet. internally this is not a problem. externally, one must continue misting to keep it moist. if one has a cut finger, for example, it can be held in a glass of CS for a time. bandages can also be moistened and applies, but that takes a lot more CS than most can afford if they dont have a maker.

CS is the premiere burn medicine. the best burn clinics use a lot of it and impregnate all their bandages with it. i believe they make a gel with it using glycerine. this, of course, keeps the moisture content high.
