HI Dr Jeff, I would like to know your opinion on plain sugar free acidophilus yogurt? On your list it seems no dairy is allowed in the early stages, but wondered what you thought of the yoghurt... Is that also not allowed?
Also, on the "no" list is nuts. Do nuts feed candida? Or is it the fact that they maybe hard to digest if someone has yeast overgrowth?
I tend to still eat some yoghurt and almonds/brazil, but am concerned since reading your list...would really appreciate you helping me understand this a little more.
I am battling yeast but more than that I am battling toxicity/infection. I figure that one thing I can control is my diet, which I am trying to do. I cannot have fruit however, when I do my symptoms tend to flare (almost as much as eating sugar). though I can handle lemons and tomatoes (if tomatoes can be classified as fruit).
any comments appreciated.
