Dear 40679, my adopted nephew from Russia is also like that. He finally is out of diapers at 4 years-old, though sometimes he is lazy and still prefers not to use the toilet if it means that he can play with his cars a little longer.

He also has a tic where he jerks his head at times. This concerns his grandmother ,but not my sister. He also likes to be in control of everything and the "boss", which may catch up with him-- so far he still has friends at pre-school, and because he is cute, alot of preschool girls gush over him.

It may be that your son may have some mercury in him from childhood vaccinations--causing the nerve conditions. I know my nephew sure must have mercury in him from all the thousands of immunization shots he had to endure in Russia and America.

A person I met at the health fair told me that he will respond very well at the Ocean and salt water/salt air. She even said to put Sea Salt in his bath water. I tried that and he loves his baths! Right now he is on vacation with my sister/bro-in-law over in Virginia-- and they plan on taking him to the Ocean.

I reccomend that after any future vaccination your child has to get-- that you gently give him mercury detoxing type foods- like raw nuts, apples, pineapple, and citrus. Also, Brazil Nuts have a good balanced amount of selenium he may be lacking. He may also be lacking in Magnesium (a mineral most of us are lacking- and especially those with mercury in thier body from shots/dental work/vaccines, etc)

Epsom Salts in the bathwater will absorb in his body and calm him tremendously. Nerves that are jumpy are a sign of magnesium defeciency.

Make sure he gets some sunlight daily-- and encourage him to get this over being in front of Televisions or computers with the EMF radiation that they emit. Children are even more sensitive than adults--- of course, dont' expect the media and technology companies to admit anything about EMF pollution.

If you have an HD Television (which most of us will all end up being forced to have pretty soon as the governement is outphasing ordinary television signals-- discourage your child from sitting too close to it-- and you may want to get one of those EMF detectors to find out where an acceptable distance is from things like HD TV's, etc. You can get one of these for $29.99 or less. This may be something good to buy and keep on hand for future vaccinations. Not to take the place of chelating or mercury detox, but I can see this helping in some small way.

I'm sure there are other such type tinctures you may want to look into -- designed to detox against the thimerasol in vaccines. Even though the FDA finally relented some and lowered the thimerasol in childhood vaccines,-- I feel any level of mercury being injected into the bloodstream is unacceptable.

Your son is very lucky to have someone like you. I think the suggestions that have been made are worth trying, Epsom Salt baths, homeopathic vaccination detox and lots of love. Do not use herbal/nutrtional detox or chelation products on your son, though, unless you are under a doctor's supervision. He's too young and you risk creating other problems.

Its seems likely to me that there is more going on than toxicity or nutritional imbalance. I would recommend homeopathy to you, as it is one of the few healing modalities I know that can completely cure illness for which the cause is unknown. If you can afford to visit a homeopathic doctor please do so (check their credentials).

If you choose not to see the doctor I would recommend a line of products from a homeopathic company I used to work with. go to the pharmacy and get some Iodine tincture in the bandaid section. paint this liberally on the bottoms of his feet. this will calm him down in a most dramatic and immediate way. then you will want to learn about Iodine and how to supplement it. everyone in your family needs it. find out why.

Eliminate from his diet all foods with Sugar ... including all pasteurized juices ...

Also all foods with preservatives ... in other words ... all foods that you don't make from scratch yourself.

Instead of juices, colas and sodas ... just plain pure water or freshly squeezed fruit or carrot juice (but not too much of it).

Instead of hot dog ... just plain meat or steak .
Instead of bread ... just potato or rice .
Instead of fried potato ... baked or cooked one is far better .
Fish more often instead of meat .
Iodine supplements .
Omega 3 supplements .
Instead of refined salt ... unrefined Sea Salt .
Butter instead of margarine.
Baked and cooked instead of deep fried food.
Raw milk instead of homogenized milk.
