Better late than never. I see this message was posted 6 months ago. First question is where is your weight now? It's a bad idea to think you could lose that much weight that quick. I too had a peak weight around 170. That was Feb '06. I wanted to just get below 150. Going into July '06 I was still in the low 160's. The one change I made, inclusive of the exercise I was doing was to start drinking a lot of water. The 1/2 your weight in
ounces target. About three weeks after that I finally went below 160. Then I cut out the midnight snacks. Then, finally I just cut out sugar, flour and high carb foods. It wasn't fast. It was slow. Sept of this year, I hit 141. Articles about loose skin make it clear it's about continued weight loss. So I set a revised target to 136. It's hard to be discipline all the time and right now I am hovering around 150. But, still, it's about slow and steady.
