Hi, I've started following Andreas Mortiz's ayurvedic diet recommendations. The diet is vegan except butter/ghee and honey are included in moderation. I had been reducing my meat intake for months before I started this so it is going ok, but I wonder what people think about the "protein issue". Personally I don't do soy or whey or anything that is processed if I can help it. Nor do I do supplements.
I'm looking to hear experiences from other people who may be on a similar diet. My main interest is in energy levels and muscle strength. Since doing this diet my energy has been much better and I started some yoga in the mornings which has toned me up a little. I have also lost weight, about five
pounds over 2-3 weeks. The weight loss may not be diet related as I am also colon cleansing. However, I do plan on increasing my physical activity in the next several months because I have a pretty labor intensive job lined up. So, any thoughts are appreciated.
